General Information
The goal of Chirosci-list is to provide a forum for Chiropractors
to discuss and explore science and research pertaining to
Chiropractic and Health Care.
An open, scientific mind is the most valuable asset a
Chiropractor can have. It allows us to continually re- examine
our current knowledge, or even our personal beliefs and systems
that we have found valuable in the past, in order to continually
move forward as more knowledge becomes available. By having an
open mind and by utilizing the tools of critical thinking and
scientific method, our knowledge becomes an ever-more accurate
representation of the world. To quote from Carl Sagan: "The
hard but just rule is that if the ideas don't work, you must
throw them away. Don't waste any neurons on what doesn't work.
Devote those neurons to new ideas that better explain the data.
Valid criticism is doing you a favor....We have a method, and
that method helps us to reach not absolute truth, only asymptotic
approaches to the truth--never there, just closer and closer,
always finding vast new oceans of undiscovered
possibilities."
It is our hope that this list will foster open-minded, scientific
discussion in areas of science and research important to
Chiropractic .
The focus of discussion topics include but are not limited to:
Chiropractic Science/Research & Critical Inquiry
• Research Methodology
• Manual Therapy
• Physical Rehabilitation
• Preventative Health Care
• Nutrition
WHO CAN SUBSCRIBE
The list is restricted to:
• 1)Doctors of Chiropractic
• 2)Students enrolled in an accredited Chiropractic College.
• 3) *Individuals actively involved in education and
research in Chiropractic and related fields including but not
limited to: Preventive Health Care, Nutrition, Manual Therapy and
Physical Rehabilitation will be given special consideration for
inclusion in the chirosci-list.

The Chirosci-list has been created to provide a forum for
Chiropractors to discuss and explore science and research
pertaining to Chiropractic and Health Care.
By subscribing to Chirosci-list, you agree to keep discussion
pertinent to the topics of the list, and to refer other
discussions to other lists.
By subscribing to Chirosci-list you agree to avoid flames,
personal attacks, etc., and to keep posts courteous and
professional.
Complaints and questions regarding the operation and content of
the list should be directed to the list moderator and not to the
list.
All messages posted to the list should be signed at the bottom of
the message. Advertising is not allowed on this list.
The list moderator reserves the right to unsubscribe anyone from
this list at his discretion.
